American Jewish World Service: $60,000 For (a) its Jewish Community Development Fund, which provides small grants for Jewish renewal and human rights programs in Russia and Ukraine ($15,000, final grant); and (b) for humanitarian aid and advocacy to assist the people of Darfur ($25,000

Aspen Institute: $25,000 For its project Realizing Rights: the Ethical Globalization Initiative, which endeavors to position human rights standards at the heart of global governance and policy-making.

Fund for Global Human Rights: $183,688.30 For a) general support of this organization, which provides funding to local human rights organizations around the world($125,000); and b) an in-kind contribution for rent and operating expenses ($52,688.30).

Public Interest Project: $2,500 For the International Human Rights Funders Group.

Shomrey Mishpat Rabbis for Human Rights- North America: $25,000 For general support of this organization, which is dedicated to education, advocacy, prayer, and action in support of human rights.

B. Ensuring a Fair and Impartial Judiciary in the United States

Alliance for Justice: $47,500 For general support of this organization, which works to safeguard fairness in our society, particularly in public policymaking processes and judicial systems.

American Constitution Society: $27,500 For general support of this organization, which works to ensure that our nation’s founding values of human dignity, individual rights and liberties, genuine equality and access to justice enjoy their rightful, central place in American law.

Justice At Stake Campaign: $30,000 For general support of this organization, which works to keep courts fair, impartial and independent through citizen education and reforms to counter a growing culture of attacks on the judiciary.

Leadership Conference for Civil Rights Education Fund (LCCREF): $60,000 For general support of this organization, which educates the public about the need for national policies that support civil rights and social and economic justice.
