American Near East Refugee Aid:  $20,000  For its Sustainable Family Poultry Farms for Gaza project, which seeks to provide food relief and security while creating a small yet sustainable source of income to impoverished families in Gaza.

Doctors Without Borders USA/ Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF):  $35,000  For its Emergency Relief Fund, which allows MSF to flexibly respond to critical humanitarian needs, including those that may not be receiving public or media attention. 

Friends of UNRWA Association:  $20,000  For its 2009 Gaza Humanitarian Appeal, which is raises funds to support the UN Relief and Works Agency's efforts to provide emergency medical and food relief to the people of the Gaza Strip.

Mazon:  $5,000  For general support of this organization, which works to eliminate hunger in the United States and around the world. 

OTHER  $51,500

Dade Community Foundation:  $2,500   For general support of this organization, which works to enhance the quality of life for all residents of Miami-Dade County.   

Foundation for Dance Promotion, Inc.:  $5,000 For general support of this organization.

Global Greengrants Fund:  $2,500  For general support of this organization, which provides small grants to grassroots groups worldwide working for environmental justice and sustainability. 

Grankmakers Without Borders:  $3,000  For general support of this organization, which works to increase funding for international social justice and environmental sustainability.

Management Assistance Group: $32,500  For general support of this organization, which provides organizational development assistance to social and economic justice organizations. 

Music National Service Initiative:  $1,500 For general support of this organization, which works to supports music as a strategy for public good.

Pacific Environment and Resource Center:  $4,500  For general support of this organization, which works to protects the living environment of the Pacific Rim.
