Promoting Civil Rights, Social Justice and Democracy in Israel

Moriah allocates the largest share of its funding to Israel, placing an emphasis on the development of Israeli organizations that promote:

  • civil rights
  • social justice and democracy
  • improve educational and economic opportunities for the disadvantaged.

Moriah also funds programs to facilitate absorption of immigrants.

Moriah currently is placing special emphasis on programs that build organizational and leadership capacity in the Ethiopian community and advocate for equitable treatment of Arab citizens.
